Comics are a vast and technical form of media, with a rich and surprising history. It is a form of narrative art that is somewhere between film, animation and the written word, and can tell incredible stories. From immense and joyful/emotional series like One Piece, to critically acclaimed, transgressive and harrowing works such as MAUS, to pervasive cultural figures like Garfield and Snoopy with their roots in a simple newspaper strips, the expansive spectrum of subject matter and style makes this a truly wonderful form of art for creatives.

None of which have necessarily reached the enormity and cultural standing of Homestuck.
